Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 291175 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Remove the right sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Remove the dash integration module (DIM) from the bracket.
  4. Remove the rear 2 DIM module bracket screws.
  5. Reposition the DIM module bracket to gain access to the recirculation actuator.
  6. Reposition the I/P electrical harness to access the actuator.
  7. Remove the electrical connector from the recirculation actuator.
  8. Remove the recirculation actuator retaining screws.

  9. Remove the recirculation actuator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 292146 Size: SH
  1. Install the recirculation actuator.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 292142 Size: SH
  2. Install the recirculation actuator retaining screws (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.4 N·m (12 lb in).

  3. Install the electrical connector to the recirculation actuator.
  4. Reposition the I/P electrical harness.

  5. Position the DIM module bracket to the original position.
  6. Install the rear 2 DIM module bracket retaining screws.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.4 N·m (12 lb in).

  7. Install the DIM module into the bracket.
  8. Install the right sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  9. Install the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  10. Recalibrate the actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
