Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement Accessory

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 220580 Size: SH
  1. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 220582 Size: SH
  2. Remove the drive belt idler pulley bolt.
  3. Remove the drive belt idler pulley.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 220582 Size: SH
  1. Install the drive belt idler pulley.

    2. Important: Be sure the idler pulley is fully seated against the shoulder on the generator bracket before tightening the bolt.

  2. Install the drive belt idler pulley bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the drive belt idler pulley bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement A/C

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 220583 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 220584 Size: SH
  2. Remove the A/C drive belt idler pulley bolt (2).
  3. Remove the A/C drive belt idler pulley (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 220584 Size: SH
  1. Install the A/C drive belt idler pulley (1).

    2. Important: Be sure the idler pulley is fully seated against the shoulder on the A/C compressor bracket before tightening the bolt.

  2. Install the A/C drive belt idler pulley bolt (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the A/C drive belt idler pulley bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
