Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement Chevrolet

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Restraints.
2. Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement .
3. Remove the knee bolster bracket. Refer to Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement .
4. Lower the steering column.



5. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim bezel screws.
6. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim bezel.

1. Install the instrument panel cluster trim bezel.
2. Install the instrument panel cluster trim bezel screws.

Tighten
Tighten the instrument panel cluster trim bezel screws to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).

3. Raise the steering column.
4. Install the knee bolster bracket. Refer to Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement .
5. Install the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement .
6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Restraints.

Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement Pontiac

1. Remove the fog lamp switch. Refer to Fog Lamp Switch Replacement in Lighting Systems.



2. Unsnap the instrument panel cluster trim bezel.
3. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim bezel from the vehicle.

1. Install the instrument panel cluster trim bezel to the vehicle.
2. Snap the instrument panel cluster trim bezel to the I/P.
3. Install the fog lamp switch. Refer to Fog Lamp Switch Replacement in Lighting Systems.
