Removal Procedure
- Remove the front bucket seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
- Remove the rear seat cushions. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
- Remove the front seat belt buckles. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front or to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Right Front in Seat Belts.
- Remove the rear seat belt retractor anchor. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement in Seat Belts.
- Remove the hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the rear cargo area front side trim panels. Refer to Cargo Area Front Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Remove the floor carpet (4) from vehicle and pull through the seat electrical connectors (7,8,9).
Installation Procedure
- Install the floor carpet (4) to the vehicle and pull through the seat electrical connectors (7,8,9).
- Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Install the rear cargo area front side trim panels. Refer to Cargo Area Front Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Install the body hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Install the rear seat belt retractor anchor. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement in Seat Belts.
- Install the front seat belt buckles. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front or to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Right Front in Seat Belts.
- Install the rear seat cushions. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
- Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.
