Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement.
  3. Remove the upper rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 2048214 Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear seat belt lower anchor to body retaining bolt (1).

    5. Object Number: 1959882 Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear seat belt guide assembly to body retaining bolt (1).

    6. Object Number: 2039780 Size: SH

    Important: Lift and tilt the seat belt retractor (3) approximately 30 degrees to detach the seat belt retractor from the body slot (4).

  6. Remove the rear seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2).
  7. Remove the rear seat belt assembly (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2039780 Size: SH

    Important: Lower the seat belt retractor (3) at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to attach the seat belt retractor onto the body slot (4).

  1. Install the rear seat belt assembly (1).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the rear seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2) to 43 N·m (31 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear seat belt guide assembly (2).
  4. Install the seat belt guide assembly to body retaining bolt (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt guide assembly to body retaining bolt (1) to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).

  5. Install the rear seat belt lower anchor (2).
  6. Install the rear seat belt lower anchor to body retaining bolt (1).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat belt lower anchor to body retaining bolt (1) to 43 N·m (31 lb ft).

  7. Install the upper rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement.
  8. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement.
  9. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
