Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning in the Preface section.

    Danger: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  4. Remove the air deflector from the front end of the vehicle. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement.

  5. Object Number: 2040590  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the front fog lamp assembly electrical connector (2).
  7. Note: Press the front fog lamp assembly to front fascia retaining clips (1) inward and push the front fog lamp assembly (3) forward to detach.

  8. Detach the front fog lamp assembly to front fascia retaining clips (1).

  9. Object Number: 2040591  Size: SH
  10. Remove the front fog lamp assembly (2) from the front fascia (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 2040591  Size: SH
  1. Install the front fog lamp assembly (2) to the front fascia (1).

  2. Object Number: 2040590  Size: SH

    Note: Push the front fog lamp assembly (3) rearwards to engage the front fog lamp assembly to front fascia retaining clips (1). Listen for an audible click to confirm fitting.

  3. Attach the front fog lamp assembly to front fascia retaining clips (1).
  4. Connect the front fog lamp assembly electrical connector (2).
  5. Install the air deflector to the front end of the vehicle. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

  8. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  9. Aim the fog lamps. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming.
