Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1273206 Size: SH
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
  3. Remove the 6 retainers (2) securing the air inlet grille panels.
  4. Pull the left air inlet grille panel (3) and the right air inlet grille panel (1) forward to release them from the retainer securing them to the windshield (4).
  5. Lift the left air inlet grille panel (3) upwards while maneuvering the panel away from the hood hinge, and remove the left air inlet grille panel (3).
  6. Lift the right air inlet grille panel (1) upwards while maneuvering the panel away from the hood hinge, and remove the right air inlet grille panel (1).

  7. Remove the 10 push-in retainers (4) securing the air inlet grille water deflector (3), to the air inlet chamber.
  8. Pull the air inlet grille water deflector (3) forward to release it from the locating lugs (1) securing it to the windshield (2), and remove the air inlet grille water deflector (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1273209 Size: SH
  1. Position the air inlet grille water deflector (3) to the locating lugs (1).
  2. Install the 10 push-in retainers (4) to the air inlet grille water deflector (3).

    3. Object Number: 1273206 Size: SH
  3. Install the right air inlet grille panel (1).
  4. Install the left air inlet grille panel (3).
  5. Install the six retainers (2) to the air inlet grille panels.
  6. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
  7. Close the hood.
