- Turn the ignition switch to RUN and then off.
- Open and then close either front door within 2 minutes.

- Open and then close each rear door, one at a time.

lamps turn on when either rear door is opened and remain on for about 4 seconds.

| Turn the
interior lamps switch to ON and then to OFF with all of the doors closed (allow
40 seconds for the illuminated entry feature to time-out).

Important: Power output diagnostic mode note
- The following actions are to test the operation of the following:
• | The parasitic power control |
• | The courtesy lamp control |
• | The inadvertent power control outputs |
- Engage the parking brake.
- Close the front doors.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Before 15 seconds pass perform the following actions:
• | Open the right front door. |
• | Cycle the headlamp switch from OFF to PARK 3 times. |
|
• | The interior lamps flash until the ignition switch is turned off. |
• | The multi-function alarm module returns to the normal function. |
