Door Inside Handle Replacement Front

1. Raise the door window to the full up position.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove enough door water deflector in order to access the door inside handle. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .



4. Remove the rivet from the rivet hole on the door inside handle (2).
5. Remove the screw (3) on the door inside handle.
6. Remove the rod (1) from the door inside handle.
7. Remove the door inside handle (2).

1. Install the rod (1) to the door inside handle (2).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the screw (3) to the door inside handle.

Tighten
Tighten the screw to fully driven, seated, not stripped.

3. Install the rivet to the rivet hole in the door inside handle (2).
4. Install the door water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .

Door Inside Handle Replacement Rear

1. Raise the door window to the full up position.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove enough door water deflector in order to access the door inside handle. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .



4. Remove the rivet (1) from the door inside handle.
5. Remove the screw (2) on the door inside handle.
6. Remove the rod from the door inside handle.
7. Remove the door inside handle.

1. Install the rod to the door inside handle.
2. Install the screw (2) to the door inside handle.

Tighten
Tighten the screw to fully driven, seated, not stripped.

3. Install the rivet (1) to the door inside handle.
4. Install the door water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
