Door Window Regulator Replacement Front
Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove enough of the door
water deflector to access the window regulator. Refer to
Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Remove the door window assembly. Refer to
Door Window Replacement
.
- Remove the window regulator bolts (3).
- Remove the regulator rivets (2).
- Remove the window regulator (1).
Installation Procedure
- Install the window regulator (1).
- Install the window regulator rivets (2).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the window
regulator bolts (3).
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 10.5 N·m (93 lb in).
- Install the door window assembly. Refer to
Door Window Replacement
.
- Install the door water reflector. Refer to
Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
Door Window Regulator Replacement Rear
Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to

- Remove enough of the door

- Remove the door window assembly. Refer to

- Remove the window regulator bolts.
- Remove the regulator rivets (2,4).
- Remove the window regulator (1).

- Install the window regulator (1).
- Install the window regulator rivets (2,4).
