  1. Set the gear selector to the PARK position.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the START position and hold.
  3. Use a DMM in order to measure the voltage from the battery positive terminal to the starter solenoid terminal B.

Is the voltage less than the specified value?

0.5 V

  1. Turn the ignition switch to START and hold.
  2. Use a DMM in order to measure the voltage from the battery negative terminal to G113.

Is the voltage less than the specified value?

0.5 V

Go to Step 3

Connect a remote starter switch between the starter solenoid terminal S and the battery positive terminal.

Does the starter crank?

Repair high resistance or poor connection in the starter circuit.

Replace the battery positive cable. Refer to Battery Cable .
