Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  2. Remove the front floor console, if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  4. Remove the carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  5. Remove the right and left closeout/insulator panels. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side and Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  6. For the sedan, remove the lower trim panel from the center pillar. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. Remove the quarter lower trim, if coupe. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .

  8. Object Number: 320784  Size: SH
  9. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

  1. Install the carpet into the vehicle.
  2. Reach under the carpet and feed the following connectors through the slits in the carpet where required:

    • The power seat adjusters
    • The vacuum connector
    • The seat belt warning wire connector

  3. Carefully insert the carpet underneath the driver's pedals.
  4. Install the quarter lower trim, if coupe. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. For the sedan, install the lower trim panel to the center pillar. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Install the right and left closeout/insulator panels. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side and Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  7. Install the carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  9. Install the front floor console, if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  10. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
