Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2003 🢒 Grand Prix 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Doors 🢒 Front Side Door Outside Handle Rod Adjustment

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector as needed. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 293875 Size: SH
  3. Use side cutters in order to cut the clip that connects the outside handle rod from the lock.
  4. Unscrew the remainder of the clip from the outside handle rod.
  5. Discard the clip.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 293875 Size: SH
  1. Install a new clip to connect the outside handle rod to the door lock lever.
  2. Position the rod in the clip in order to eliminate any free play in the outside door handle.
  3. Install the clip cover over the threaded rod.
  4. Install the water deflector as needed. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Inspect the door lock system for proper operation.
