Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 372201 Size: SH
  1. Disable the SIR. Refer to Disabling the SIR System .
  2. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
  3. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column.
  4. Remove the wiring harness straps from the steering column wiring harness.
  5. Remove all retaining rings.
  6. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil (1) from the steering shaft.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 372201 Size: SH
  1. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil (1) to the steering shaft.
  2. Install all retaining rings.
  3. Install the wiring harness straps to the steering column wiring harness.
  4. Install the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column.
  5. Install the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
  6. Enable the SIR. Refer to Enabling the SIR System .
