Removal Procedure
- Open the sunshade to the full rearward position.
- Cycle the sunroof window to the fully closed position.
Important: Do NOT fully remove actuator side covers (1). The sunroof window actuator cover conceals the window actuator screws. Use care when lifting up on the corners of the sunroof window actuator side covers to expose
the screws.
- From inside the vehicle, gently pull back the actuator covers and remove the sunroof window screws from left and right sides.
Important: Use Care NOT to scratch the roof surface or the sunroof window.
- Lift the sunroof window (2 or 3) from the sunroof opening.
- Remove the actuator cover from the sunroof. Refer to
Sunroof Actuator Cover Replacement - 2-3-4
.
Installation Procedure
- Position the sunroof window (2 or 3) into the opening.
Important: Do NOT tighten the sunroof window actuator screws all way down before inspecting the alignment of the sunroof window. Maintain a 4.00 mm (0.16 inch) gap clearance around the sunroof window edges.
- From inside the vehicle, install the sunroof window actuator screws to the left and right sides. Do Not tighten the screws fully
- Adjust the sunroof window panel. Refer to
Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment

Sunroof Window Alignment

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Tighten the sunroof window actuator screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
- Install the sunroof window side actuator covers (1) to the left and right sides. Refer to
Sunroof Actuator Cover Replacement - 2-3-4
.
- Close the sunshade.
- Cycle the sunroof window to ensure proper operation and fit.
