Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air inlet screen. Refer to Air Inlet Screen Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2010289 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolts (1) securing the windshield wiper transmission to the vehicle.

    3. Object Number: 2010293 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connections to the windshield wiper motor.
  4. Remove the windshield wiper transmission assembly from the vehicle.
  5. Remove the windshield wiper motor from the windshield wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2010293 Size: SH
  1. Install the windshield wiper motor to the windshield wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement.
  2. Position the windshield wiper transmission assembly to the vehicle.
  3. Connect the electrical connections to the windshield wiper motor.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2010289 Size: SH
  4. Tighten the windshield wiper transmission bolts (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 7.5 N·m (66 lb in).

  5. Install the air inlet screen. Refer to Air Inlet Screen Replacement.
