Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove enough of the door water deflector in order to access the door window to regulator bolts. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 893016  Size: SH
  4. Connect the power window switch and open the rear door window until you can access the window bolts through the inner access holes.
  5. Remove the door window frame applique. Refer to Front Door Frame Applique Replacement or to Rear Door Frame Applique Replacement .
  6. Remove the outer belt seal. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  7. Disengage the window from the run channels.
  8. Remove the window to sash bolts.
  9. Remove the window from the door.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear side door window in the door.
  2. Engage the window in the run channels.
  3. Install the outer belt seal. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  4. Install the door window frame applique. Refer to Front Door Frame Applique Replacement or to Rear Door Frame Applique Replacement .
  5. Slide the window to the full up position and tape the window in place.
  6. Connect the power window switch and move the window regulator to gain access to the window bolts through the inner panel.
  7. Lower the window and attach the window to the regulator.
  8. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  9. Install the bolts.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  11. Install the door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  12. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
