Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 892565 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear door inner panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  2. Partially remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the check link bolt at the hinge pillar.

    4. Object Number: 893725 Size: SH
  4. Remove the door check link nuts from the door frame.
  5. Remove the check link from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 893725 Size: SH
  1. Install the check link to the door frame.
  2. Verify all seals are properly positioned.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

    Important: Be careful not to damage door sound insulator.

  3. Install the door check link nuts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the check link bolt.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  6. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
