Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 893629 Size: SH
  1. Remove the door trim panel front. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement removal procedure.
  2. Remove the water deflector carefully by peeling back the edges.

    3. Object Number: 893720 Size: SH
  3. Remove the inside door handle by sliding toward the front of the vehicle and pulling outward.

    4. Object Number: 893673 Size: SH
  4. Unsnap the inside door handle actuator rod by pressing the retainer tab and lifting up.
  5. Unhook the clip from the door handle actuator rod using an awl, then rotate the clip downward.
  6. Remove the door handle actuator rod from the clip on the latch mechanism by pulling the actuator rod outward.

    7. Object Number: 893720 Size: SH
  7. Remove the inside door handle from the inside door handle actuator rod.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 893673 Size: SH
  1. Insert the inside door handle actuator rod into the retainer clip on the latch mechanism.
  2. Rotate the retainer clip upward to engage the inside door handle actuator rod to the latch mechanism.

    3. Object Number: 893720 Size: SH
  3. Attach the inside door handle to the end of the inside door handle actuator rod.
  4. Place the inside door handle actuator rod in the guide clip.
  5. Attach the inside door handle by sliding the entire assembly toward the front of the vehicle then rearward into position.

    6. Object Number: 893629 Size: SH

    Important: Replace the water deflector if damaged.

  6. Install the water deflector to the previous holes and position.
  7. Install the door trim panel front. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement installation procedure.
