Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 897103 Size: SH
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement removal procedure.
  2. Remove the water deflector carefully by peeling back the edges.

    3. Object Number: 893720 Size: SH
  3. Slide the inside door handle forward and out.
  4. Unhook the inside door handle rod and remove the handle.

    5. Object Number: 893704 Size: SH
  5. Remove the door handle rod from the guide.
  6. Unsnap the door handle rod clip from the latch mechanism, using an awl.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 893704 Size: SH
  1. Snap the inside door handle actuator rod into the latch mechanism.
  2. Install the rod to the inside door handle.
  3. Position the rod into the guide and install the inside handle.
  4. Verify the correct operation.

    5. Object Number: 897103 Size: SH

    Important: Replace the water deflector if damaged.

  5. Install the water deflector to the previous holes and position.
  6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement installation procedure.
