Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 863550  Size: SH
  1. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the radio ground strap spade terminal from the rear of the radio.

  3. Object Number: 863617  Size: SH
  4. Adjust the front seats to the most rearward position.
  5. Remove the right lower trim panel extension by pulling outward at dual lock locations.
  6. Rotate the panel outward to disengage the hinges from the console.

  7. Object Number: 863539  Size: SH
  8. At the instrument panel junction block, disconnect the bolt/ground strap ring terminal from the lower H-Brace hole.
  9. Unroute the ground strap by gently pulling the spade terminal end through the H-Brace upper hole.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 863539  Size: SH
  1. Route the ground strap from the upper H-Brace hole, up to the radio area by putting the spade terminal end through the hole.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Connect the bolt/ground strap ring terminal to the lower H-Brace hole into IPFB.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the radio ground strap-to-H-brace fasteners to 2.2 N·m (19 lb in).

  5. Make sure there is no excess slack in the ground strap.

  6. Object Number: 863617  Size: SH
  7. Install the right lower trim panel extension by inserting the hinges into the console.
  8. Close the extension panel and push in at the dual lock locations.

  9. Object Number: 863550  Size: SH
  10. Connect the radio ground strap spade terminal, antenna, and the electrical connectors to the rear of the radio.
  11. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
