The generator battery disconnect control module monitors the battery pack resistance to verify that it is not above the system resistance criteria (55 mOhms) where it will affect the hybrid vehicle performance.
The engine is running.
Pack resistance is greater than resistance criteria. Where resistance criteria = TempFactorLookup + SOCFactorLookup;

• | Battery resistance severe low = Valid |
• | Battery resistance calc. regression = Valid |
• | All current sensor faults = Not Fail |
• | All voltage sensor faults = Not Fail |
• | Battery temperature not less than -7°C (19.4°F) |
• | Battery state of charge not greater than 90 percent |

⇒ | If resistance is greater than 55 mOhms, continue with Circuit/System Testing. |
⇒ | If resistance is less than 50 mOhms, clear the DTC and road test vehicle to determine if the DTC resets. |
Caution: To help avoid personal injury, be careful when working in the vicinity of the generator battery disconnect control module. Internal components will still be live, 36V potential, even when the cover has been opened or removed.
