Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the carpet retainer. Refer to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  2. Remove the lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Lock Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear upper trim molding. Refer to Rear Window Upper Molding Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 899135  Size: SH
  5. Remove the finish molding from the rear upper trim.

  6. Object Number: 977535  Size: SH
  7. On the driver side, remove the fasteners from the load floor storage bin.
  8. On the driver side, remove the load floor storage bin.

  9. Object Number: 980988  Size: SH
  10. Remove the cargo hooks.

  11. Object Number: 965660  Size: SH
  12. On the driver side, disconnect the accessory wire harness.
  13. Pull at the clip locations to disengage the side trim panel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 965674  Size: SH
  1. Position the rear side trim panel to the vehicle. Place the trim under the seat belt webbing.
  2. On the driver side, connect the accessory wire harness.
  3. Push at the clip locations to secure the panel to the vehicle.
  4. Secure the weatherstrip seal over the trim edge.
  5. Install the lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Lock Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .

  6. Object Number: 899135  Size: SH
  7. Install the finish molding to the rear upper trim.
  8. Install the rear upper trim molding. Refer to Rear Window Upper Molding Replacement .
  9. Install the carpet retainer. Refer to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  10. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 977535  Size: SH
  11. Install the load floor storage bins.
  12. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).


    Object Number: 980988  Size: SH
  13. Install the cargo hooks.
  14. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
