Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transaxle from the vehicle. Refer to Transmission Replacement.
  2. Remove the torque dampener. Refer to Torque Dampener Removal.
  3. Remove the torque dampener and differential housing assembly. refer to Torque Dampener and Differential Housing with Fluid Pump Removal.
  4. Remove the drive motor generator rotor and stator unit A assemblies. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Rotor and Stator Removal - Unit A.
  5. Remove the drive motor/generator power inverter module cable 3 phase assembly "A".
  6. Remove the case cover. Refer to Case Cover Removal.
  7. Remove the drive motor/generator rotor and stator unit B. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Rotor and Stator Removal - Unit B.
  8. Remove the drive motor/generator power inverter module cable 3 phase assembly "B".

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the drive motor/generator power inverter module cable 3 phase assembly "B".
  2. Install the drive motor/generator rotor and stator unit B. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Rotor and Stator Installation - Unit B.
  3. Install the case cover. Refer to Case Cover Assembly Installation.
  4. Install the drive motor/generator power inverter module cable 3 phase assembly "A".
  5. Install the drive motor generator rotor and stator unit A assemblies. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Rotor and Stator Installation - Unit A.
  6. Install the torque dampener and differential housing assembly. refer to Torque Dampener and Differential Housing with Fluid Pump Installation.
  7. Install the torque dampener. Refer to Torque Dampener Installation.
  8. Install the transaxle in the vehicle. Refer to Transmission Replacement.
