Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2002 🢒 VUE - FWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.0L (L81) 🢒 Engine Mount Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the Air Cleaner Assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.0L (L81).

    2. Important: Use the engine support fixture to properly support the engine assembly during the engine mount removal and installation. DO NOT use a floor jack and block of wood to support the engine assembly.

  2. Install the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture .

  3. Remove the mount to mount bracket bolts.

    4. Object Number: 928651 Size: SH
  4. Remove the mount to frame rail nuts.
  5. Remove the RH mount.
  6. Remove the two spacers under the engine mount in order to clean the spacers and surface area.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the two spacers to the engine mount studs, replace the spacers if necessary.

    2. Object Number: 928651 Size: SH
  2. Install the RH mount to the frame rail studs.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the RH mount to frame rail nuts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 110 N·m (81 lb ft).

  4. Hand start the RH mount to bracket bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  5. Remove the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture .
  6. Install the Air Cleaner Assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.0L (L81).
