Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the shift control lever knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement.
3. Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement.
4. Remove the shift control. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement.

Shift Control Bracket Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)
