  1. Drive the vehicle above 40 km/h (25 mph).
  2. Place the cruise ON/OFF button in the ON position.
  3. Depress the cruise control SET button and release.
  4. Remove foot from the accelerator pedal.

Vehicle maintains set speed.

Cruise Control Inoperative

  1. Move the cruise control RESUME/ACCEL switch to the right and hold until the vehicle speed increases by 6.4-8.0 km/h (4-5 mph).
  2. Release the cruise control RESUME/ACCEL switch.

Vehicle accelerates and maintains the new higher set speed.

Does Not Resume, Accelerate, or Tap Up or Down

  1. Depress the cruise control SET switch and hold in the position until the vehicle speed decreases by 6.4-8.0 km/h (4-5 mph).
  2. Release the cruise control SET/COAST switch.

Vehicle decelerates and maintains the new lower speed, provided that the speed is above 40 km/h (25 mph).

Does Not Resume, Accelerate, or Tap Up or Down

Press brake pedal slightly.

Cruise control disengages. (Memory unchanged)

Tap the cruise control RESUME/ACCEL button to the right quickly and release.

Vehicle accelerates to and maintains previous set speed.

Tap the cruise control switch RESUME/ACCEL button once (tap-up) and release (less than 3/4 of a second).

Vehicle speed increases by approximately 1.6 km/h (1 mph) and maintains the new set speed.

Tap the cruise control SET button once (tap-down) and release (less than 3/4 of a second).

Vehicle speed decreases by approximately 1.6 km/h (1 mph) and maintains the new set speed.

Cruise control disengages.
