Did you perform the Radio/Audio System Check?

  1. Disconnect the radio connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ACC or ON.

  3. Connect a J 39200 from the radio connector cavity 4 to ground
  4. Measure the voltage.

Is the voltage less than the specified value?

10 V

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in WHT/BLK wire between the radio and the fuse block 2. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

  1. Connect a J 39200 between the radio connector cavities 4 and 9.
  2. Measure the voltage.

Is the voltage less than the specified value?

10 V

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in BLK wire between the radio and G200. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect a J 39200 between the radio connector cavities 11 and 9.
  2. Measure the voltage.

Is the voltage less than the specified value?

10 V

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in WHT wire between the radio and the fuse block 2. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Inspect the radio connector for cavities shorted together or poor connections.

Are there shorted cavities or poor connections?

Go to Step 9

Repair the shorted cavities or poor connections. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
