  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Turn the radio ON.
  3. Manually operate all functions of the radio, including station seek and scan, and all tone controls.
    • Radio display is on (displays clock or radio information).
    • Radio turns on.
    • All speakers are working.
    • All radio controls operate normally.
    • Display dims with instrument panel dimmer switch.

When the radio, tape player, or CD player is in the radio mode.

The local radio stations come in properly.

Insert a known good cassette tape into the cassette player.

Cassette plays and sound is heard from the speakers.

Insert a known good CD into the CD Player.

CD plays and sound is heard from the speakers

Compact Disc Inoperative
