Rear Seat Cushion Replacement 2 Door

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 351572  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion trim cover. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the 2 bolts which secure each side of the rear seatback (1).
  3. Remove the rear seatback (1) from the rear seat cushion (3).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 351572  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the rear seatback (1) to the rear seat cushion (3). Secure the rear seatback (1) with 2 bolts at each side.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seatback bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear seat cushion trim cover. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Cover Replacement .

Rear Seat Cushion Replacement 4 Door

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion trim cover. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the forward bolt which secures the rear seat recliner mechanism to the seat cushion.
  3. Remove the E-ring from the rear seat inboard hinge pin.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the E-ring to the rear seat inboard hinge pin.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the forward bolt which secures the recliner mechanism to the seat cushion (12).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat recliner mechanism forward bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  5. Install the rear seat cushion trim cover. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Cover Replacement .

Rear Seat Cushion Replacement 50/50 Split

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear 50-50 Split Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear seat rails from the rear seat. Refer to Seat Rail Replacement - Rear 50-50 Split .
  3. Remove the rear seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Latch Replacement .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Latch Replacement .
  2. Install the rear seat rails from the rear seat. Refer to Seat Rail Replacement - Rear 50-50 Split .
  3. Install the rear seat to the vehicle. Refer to Seat Rail Replacement - Rear 50-50 Split .
