Does the LED illuminate?

Inspect the courtesy lamps.

Do the courtesy lamps function properly?

Inspect the Valet lockout switch.

Verify that the lockout switch is in the OFF position.

Is the valet lockout switch in the OFF position?

Press the rear compartment lid and the fuel door release buttons.

Does the rear compartment lid and fuel door release function properly?

Go to Step 5

Go to Fuel Filler Door Release System Check , Rear Compartment Lid Release System Check , Fuel Filler Door Release Inoperative in Body Rear End

Remove the UGDO from the overhead console. Refer to Garage Door Opener Replacement .

Test for battery voltage at connector C1 terminal 1 of UGDO connector to ground (Ensure that the body control module has not timed out.) .

Is battery voltage of the specified value present?

10-14 volts

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Inspect for ground at connector C1 terminal 3 of UGDO connector.

Is a ground present?

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 8

Inspect for an open or short to ground in CKT 1732 (ORN) from connector C303 terminal C to connector C1 terminal 1 of the UGDO connector.

Is the repair compete?

--

Refer to Garage Door Opener System Check

Inspect for open in CKT 1050 (BLK) from connector C303 terminal A to connector C1 terminal 3 of the UGDO connector.

Is the repair complete?

--

Refer to Garage Door Opener System Check

Replace the garage door opener.
