Armrest Bracket Replacement All

1. Remove the door inner trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement or Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .



3. Loosen the upper armrest bracket bolt.
4. Remove the lower armrest bracket bolt.
5. Remove the armrest bracket, lifting the bracket upwards off the door.

1. Hook the upper portion of the armrest bracket over the upper bolt.
2. Install the lower armrest bracket bolt.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

3. Tighten the armrest bracket bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the armrest bracket bolts to 10 N·m(89 lb in).

4. Install the door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement or Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
5. Install the door inner trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
