Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC Module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement
2. Remove the heater core. Refer to Heater Core Replacement

A/C Evaporator Tube Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).

Thermal Expansion Valve Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).

Procedure

Remove and discard sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement
