Removal Procedure
  1. Remove door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the wire harness retaining bracket from the door lock assembly.
  4. Disconnect the outer door handle linkage from the door lock assembly.
  5. Disconnect the inner door handle linkage from the door lock assembly.

    6. Object Number: 428121 Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the door lock assembly.
  7. Remove the fasteners retaining the door lock assembly.
  8. Remove the door lock assembly from the door.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the door lock assembly to the door.
  2. Install the fasteners.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors (1) to the door lock assembly.
  4. Connect the inner door handle linkage to the door lock assembly.
  5. Connect the outer door handle linkage to the door lock assembly.
  6. Connect the wire harness retaining bracket to the door lock assembly.
  7. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  8. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
