1. Turn the radio ON.
2. Using a DMM, backprobe between the radio antenna module connector C395 terminal A and ground.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

12 V

1. With the radio still on.
2. Using a DMM, backprobe between the radio terminal F3 and ground.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 7

1. With the radio still on.
2. Using a DMM, backprobe between the radio antenna module connector C395 terminal A and terminal B.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 10

Inspect the coaxial cable, between the radio and the radio antenna module.

Is the coaxial cable OK?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 8

1. Inspect the connection between the rear window antenna grid and the radio antenna module.
2. If the connection is OK, replace the radio antenna module. Refer to Antenna Amplifier Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Replace the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement for service procedure.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the coaxial cable. Refer to Radio Antenna Cable Extension Cable Replacement for service procedure.
