1. Disconnect the Aux RCA Video Jacks connector.
2. Measure the voltage between cavity B of the Aux RCA Video Jacks harness connector and ground with a DMM.

Is the voltage measured within the specified range?

0 V

Go to step 4

Go to step 5

Measure the resistance between pin B of the Aux RCA Video Jacks harness connector and ground with a DMM.

Is the resistance measured within the specified range?

Infinite

Go to step 6

Go to step 7

Repair the short to B+ in circuit 2058 between cavity B of the Aux RCA Video Jacks connector and cavity 16 of the Navigation Display Module connector C3. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

1. Disconnect the Navigation Display Module connector C3.
2. Measure the resistance between cavity B of the Aux RCA Video Jacks harness connector and cavity 16 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C3 with a DMM.

Is the resistance measured within the specified range?

0-2 ohms

Repair the short to ground in circuit 2058 between cavity B of the Aux RCA Video Jacks connector and cavity 16 of the Navigation Display Module connector C3. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Measure the resistance between pin B of the Aux RCA Video Jacks pigtail connector and the female portion of the RED Aux RCA Video Jack with a DMM.

Is the resistance measured within the specified range?

0-2 ohms

Go to step 10

Repair the open in circuit 2058 between cavity B of the Aux RCA Video Jacks connector and cavity 16 of the Navigation Display Module connector C3. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the Navigation Display Module. Refer to Navigation Display Module Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
