CNG Fill Valve Access Hole Drilling Procedure
- Replace the left quarter panel. Refer to Quarter Panel Replacement in Collision Repair in the J Platform Service Manual.
- Measure and mark the left quarter panel. Refer to View 1 in Form and Pierce Holes Description . Verify all measurements before drilling.
- Drill the four holes (A, C, D, E) to 6.7 mm (17/64 in).
- Drill the one hole (B) to 76.2 mm (3.0 in) at a 20 degree angle. Refer to View 2 in Form and Pierce Holes Description .
- Vacuum all metal chips.
- Treat each hole with zinc-rich primer or the equivalent.
