Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement Pickup

1. Remove the hinge pillars. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
3. Remove the seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket or to Rear Bench Seat Replacement in Seats.
4. Remove the floor storage console. Refer to Console Replacement .
5. Remove the floor console bracket.
6. Remove the shift handle and boot, if equipped. Refer to Shift Lever Replacement in Manual Transmission NV 3500, or to Shift Lever Replacement in Manual Transmission NV 4500.
7. Remove the jack assembly. Refer to Jack and Tool Stowage Replacement in Body Rear End.
8. Remove the quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
9. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) supporting post lower bolt. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.



10. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

1. Install the carpet to the vehicle.
2. Install the I/P supporting post lower bolt. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
3. Install the quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
4. Install the jack assembly. Refer to Jack and Tool Stowage Replacement in Body Rear End.
5. Install the shift handle and boot, if equipped. Refer to Shift Lever Replacement in Manual Transmission NV 3500, or to Shift Lever Replacement in Manual Transmission NV 4500.
6. Install the floor console bracket.
7. Install the floor storage console. Refer to Console Replacement .
8. Install the seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket or to Rear Bench Seat Replacement in Seats.
9. Install the door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
10. Install the hinge pillars. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .

Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement Utility

1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
2. Remove the floor center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
3. Remove the lower bracket from the I/P to the floor to allow carpet removal.
4. Remove the center seat. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement in Seats.
5. Remove the floor mats.
6. Remove the transfer case shifter bezel, if equipped.
7. Remove the side sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
8. Remove the side kick panels both side. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
9. Remove the garnish molding center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .



10. Remove the carpet.

Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

1. Install the carpet.
2. Install the garnish molding center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
3. Install the side kick panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
4. Install the side sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
5. Install the transfer case shifter bezel, if equipped.
6. Install the floor mats.
7. Install the center seats. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement in Seats.
8. Install the lower bracket from the I/P to the floor.
9. Install the floor center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
10. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
