Inspect the hydraulic clutch fluid.

1. Drain the hydraulic clutch system.
2. Refill the hydraulic clutch system with GM P/N 12345347 hydraulic clutch fluid, or the equivalent.

Does the clutch pedal still squeak?

System OK

Inspect the ball stud.

Is the ball stud binding?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Lubricate the ball stud or replace it if necessary. Refer to Clutch Fork Assembly Replacement .

Does the clutch pedal still squeak?

Go to Step 5

System OK

Inspect the clutch pedal bushings.

Are the clutch pedal bushings dry?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Lubricate the clutch pedal bushings.

Does the clutch pedal still squeak?

--

Go to Step 7

System OK

Inspect the clutch master cylinder pushrod.

Is the clutch master cylinder pushrod dry?
