Comments:

  1. There must be a noticeable blower speed increase from 1 to 2, 3, 4, and 5.
  2. Listen for an increase in air noise due to the recirculation door opening.
  3. Make sure that the air temperature is cool.
  4. Make sure that the air temperature is warm.

Note:

    • The Recirc button led will not light in either the defrost or defog modes.
    • The A/C button will not light when the fan speed is OFF or if the engine is not running.

If the air temperature control is set on FULL COLD and all other functions are normal, but the air temperature delivered is warm, refer to System Performance Test .

If the system performance does not meet the ambient air temperature or the low and high side pressure values refer to VDOT Air Conditioning (A/C) System Diagnosis for repairs.
