Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement Driver

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the seat riser outboard finish cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat recliner inboard finish covers. Refer to Front Seat Back Recliner Inner Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the seat recliner outboard finish covers. Refer to Front Seat Back Recliner Outer Trim Panel Replacement .

Panel, Seat Back Cushion Rear Finish

Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .

Restraint, Front Seat Head

Tip
Depress the button on the outboard head restraint guide and pull up to raise and remove the head restraint.

Guide, Front Seat Head Restraint (Qty: 2)

Tip
Reach up and into the top of the seat back, while pressing the tabs on the bottom of the head restraint guide, pull the guide from the seat back frame.

Cover, Seat Back Cushion

Tip

  1. Disconnect the j-channel from the seat back frame and remove the pad and cover as an assembly.
  2. Remove the hog rings from the seat back cover to seat back frame.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector, release the clip and feed the connector through the seat back to remove.

Pad, Seat Back Cushion Cover

Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .

Tip
The hog rings that attach the seat back cushion cover to the pad must be removed so that the pad can be separated from the cover.

Remove the passenger seat recliners. Refer to Front Seat Recliner Replacement.

Front Seat Back Head Restraint Adjusting Rod Guide Assembly

Tip
Reach up and into the top of the seat back, while pressing the tabs on the bottom of the head restraint guide, pull the guide from the seat back frame.

Seat Back Cushion Cover

Tip

  1. Disconnect the j-channel from the seat back frame and remove the pad and cover as an assembly.
  2. Remove the hog rings from the seat back cover to seat back frame.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector, release the clip and feed the connector through the seat back to remove.

Tip
The hog rings that attach the seat back cushion cover to the pad must be removed so that the pad can be separated from the cover.
