  1. Inspect the right high beam headlamp bulbs for damage or an open filament.
  2. Inspect the right high beam headlamp connector seals for damage or a poor connection.

Are the headlamps bulbs and connectors OK?

Go to Step 2

  1. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
  2. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the HIGH position.
  3. Using a test lamp, backprobe between the right high beam headlamp harness connector terminal A and ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Repair the poor connection or an open in circuit 11 between S103 and the right high beam headlamp harness connector terminal A.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

Using a test lamp, backprobe between the right high beam headlamp harness connector terminal A and terminal B.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Inspect for a poor connection or an open in circuit 593.

Is there a poor connection or an open in circuit 593?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 9

Replace the right high beam headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

Replace the damaged component.

Replace the DRL control module. Refer to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Control Module Replacement .
