Problem

Action

The oil level is low.
  1. Add power steering fluid as required. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid .
  2. Inspect the system for leaks. Refer to External Leakage Check .

Air is in the oil or the pressure hose connection is poor.
  1. Tighten the connector. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .
  2. Bleed the system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
