Removal Procedure
- Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
- Remove the seat adjuster track cover. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement .
- Remove the seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Trim Cover and Pad Replacement .
- Disconnect the memory seat module harness connectors (2).
- Remove the memory seat module retaining screws (1).
- Slide the memory seat module outward.
- Remove the memory seat module from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Slide the memory seat module inward until the unit is seated.
- Install the memory seat module to the vehicle.
- Install the memory seat module retaining screws (1).
- Install the memory seat module harness connectors (2).
- Install the seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Trim Cover and Pad Replacement .
- Install the seat adjuster track cover. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement .
- Install the front seat to the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
- Calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration .
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 3 N·m (26 lb in).
