Important: Perform steps 1-5 within 10 minutes after cycling the ignition
and without opening the doors.
This is necessary because of the retained accessory power (RAP)
time-out.
- Place the left and right door lock switches in the LOCK position.
- Close the doors.
- Place the vehicle in the park position.
- Cycle the ignition switch to the RUN position, then back to OFF.

| Place the left and/or right door lock switch in the UNLOCK position.
| The doors unlock.

- Open the door.
- Place the left or right door lock switch into the LOCK position.
Perform this step within 35 seconds of opening the door, because
of the RAP.

- Exit the vehicle.
- Close the door and the hatch.
- Press the door UNLOCK button on the remote control door lock transmitter.

• | The driver door unlocks. |
• | The interior lights illuminate. |

| Press the door UNLOCK button a second time within 5 seconds of
the first press.

• | The passenger door unlocks. |
• | The interior lights stay illuminated for one of the following
periods of time: |
- | For 40 seconds after the first press of the UNLOCK button |
- | Until the ignition switch is turned to the ON position |

• | Doors Unlock Inoperative with Transmitter - All |

- Wait for the interior lights to go out.
- Press the door LOCK button on the remote control door lock transmitter.
|
• | The interior lights illuminate for approximately 2 seconds
in order to acknowledge the locking of the doors. |
