1. Remove the key from the ignition key lock cylinder.
2. Close all of the vehicle doors.
3. Observe the door locks while you press LOCK and UNLOCK on the driver door lock switch.
4. Observe the door locks while you press LOCK and UNLOCK on the passenger door lock switch.

All of the doors lock and unlock when you use either door lock switch.

Lockout prevention feature:

1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
2. Open the LF and the RF door windows.
3. Insert the key in the ignition key lock cylinder.
4. Leave the ignition switch in LOCK.
5. Open the driver door.
6. Observe the door locks while you momentarily press LOCK on the door lock switch.
7. Close the driver door.
8. Open the left sliding door. If not equipped, go to step 10.
9. Observe the door locks while you reach through the driver door window and momentarily press LOCK on the door lock switch.
10. Open the RF door.
11. Observe the door locks while you momentarily press LOCK on the door lock switch.
12. Close the RF door.
13. Open the right sliding door.
14. Observe the door locks while you reach through the RF window and momentarily press LOCK on the door lock switch.

The doors do not lock when you press LOCK on either door lock switch while the key is in the ignition and a door is open.

Lockout Prevention Feature Inoperative. Go to Power Door Locks Lockout Mode Inoperative .

Lockout protection override feature:

1. Open the driver door.
2. Fully insert the key in the ignition key lock cylinder.
3. Leave the ignition switch in LOCK.
4. Observe the door locks while you press and hold the driver door lock switch for 3 seconds.
5. Use the driver door lock switch in order to unlock the doors.
6. Close the driver door.
7. Open the right front door.
8. Observe the door locks while you press the passenger door lock switch twice.

Refer to Lockout Prevention Override Feature Inoperative. Go to Power Door Locks Lockout Override Mode Inoperative .

The ignition OFF unlock feature:

1. Set the automatic door locks feature customization to mode 3. Refer to Feature Customization.
2. Start the engine.
3. Step on and firmly hold the brake pedal.
4. Shift the transaxle out of PARK.
5. Shift the transaxle into PARK.
6. Observe the door locks while you turn the ignition switch to LOCK.

All of the doors unlock when you turn the ignition switch to LOCK.

Automatic Door Lock Feature Inoperative. Go to Automatic Door Locks Inoperative, Power Locks Operate .

Shift into PARK unlock and shift out of PARK lock features:

1. Set the automatic door locks feature customization to mode 4.
2. Close all of the vehicle doors.
3. Ensure that all of the doors are unlocked.
4. Step on and firmly hold the brake pedal.
5. Start the engine.
6. Observe the door locks while you shift the transaxle into PARK.
7. Turn OFF the engine.

Automatic Door Lock Feature Inoperative. Go to Automatic Door Locks Inoperative, Power Locks Operate .

Last door lock feature:

1. Set the locking control feature customization to mode 4.
2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
3. Open all of the vehicle windows.
4. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK and remove the key from the ignition key lock cylinder.
5. Step out of the vehicle.
6. Ensure that all of the passenger doors are closed, except the driver door.
7. Press LOCK on the driver door lock switch. Listen for 3 chimes.
8. Close the driver door.
9. Within 5 seconds, open the left sliding door. Listen for 3 chimes. If not equipped with a left sliding door, go to step 12.
10. Close the LR door.
11. Wait 5 seconds while you observe the door locks.
12. Unlock and open the RF door.
13. Press LOCK on the door lock switch. Listen for 3 chimes.
14. Close the RF door.
15. Within 5 seconds, open the right sliding door. Listen for 3 chimes.
16. Close the RF door.
17. Wait 5 seconds while you observe the door locks.

All of the doors lock 5 seconds after the last door is closed when you press LOCK on either door lock switch and no key is inserted in the ignition key lock cylinder.

Last Door Lock or Sliding Door Delayed Locking Feature Inoperative. Go to Automatic Door Lock Last Door Lock Mode Inoperative .

Sliding door delayed locking:

1. Open the left or the right sliding door.
2. Ensure that the RF door and the liftgate door are closed.
3. Remove the key from the ignition key lock cylinder.
4. Press LOCK on either door lock switch.
5. Close the driver door.
6. Close the sliding door.
7. Wait 3 seconds while you observe the door locks.

All of the doors lock 2.7-3.3 seconds after you close the sliding door.

Last Door Lock or Sliding Door Delayed Locking Feature Inoperative. Go to Automatic Door Lock Last Door Lock Mode Inoperative .

Key cylinder unlock feature (Vehicles equipped with the content theft deterrent only - RPO UA6):

1. Remove the key from the ignition key lock cylinder.
2. Lock and close all of the doors.
3. Insert the key into one of the following door key cylinder locks:

•

LF

•

RF

•

Liftgate

4. Rotate the key in order to unlock the door. While you observe the locks, old the key in the unlock position for 1 second.

All of the doors unlock when you rotate the following door key cylinders to UNLOCK for 1 second:

Key cylinder lock feature (Vehicles equipped with the content theft deterrent only - RPO UA6):

1. Remove the key from the ignition key lock cylinder.
2. Unlock and close all of the vehicle doors.
3. Insert the key into one of the following door key lock cylinders:

LF

•

RF

•

Liftgate

4. Observe the door locks while you rotate the key in order to lock the door.

All of the doors lock when you rotate any of the following door key lock cylinders to LOCK:
