Radio Inoperative with Steering Wheel Controls

One or more of the controls on the steering wheel are inoperative but some controls are operational

The steering wheel controls illumination is inoperative

Steering Wheel Controls Illumination Inoperative

The left side of the steering wheel controls is inoperative but the right side operates normally

1. Inspect the yellow wire between the left and right steering wheel control switches for an open.
2. Inspect CKT 1011 between the left steering wheel control switches and the SIR coil assembly connector terminal C for an open.
3. If there is not an open, repair or replace the steering wheel control switches as needed.
