Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Front Drain Hose

1. Remove the sound insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console.
2. Remove the parking brake assembly from the left side hose. Set the assembly aside. Refer to Park Brake Lever Assembly Replacement in Park Brake.
3. Remove the hood release cable and handle from the left side hose. Set the cable and handle aside. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement in Body Front End.
4. Remove the DERM and bracket from the right side hose. Set the DERM and bracket aside. Refer to SIR Diagnostic System Check in SIR.
5. Remove the acoustical patch.
6. Remove the side upper garnish molding from the window. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.
7. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement .
8. Remove the sunroof control switch. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
9. Remove the assist handle from the rail. Refer to Sunroof Opening Trim Finish Lace Replacement .
10. Remove the sunroof trim lace. Refer to Sunroof Opening Trim Finish Lace Replacement .



11. Lower the headlining trim finish panel.
12. Remove the sunroof module from the drain hose connection.
13. Drain the hose from the sunroof module.
14. Cut the drain hose half way up the windshield pillar.
15. Connect the bottom of the new drain hose with the top of the old drain hose, at the windshield pillar. Take a standard sock that fits tightly in the inside diameter of the drain hose.
16. Loosen the sealer by working the hose back and forth.
17. Pull the old hose out through the bottom, the new hose should then be routed correctly.

1. Install the drain connection to the sunroof module.
2. Install the sunroof opening trim lace. Refer to Sunroof Opening Trim Finish Lace Replacement .
3. Install the rail front assist handle. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
4. Install the sunroof control switch. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement .
5. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement .
6. Install the windshield side upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper .
7. Install the acoustical patch.
8. Install the DERM and the bracket for the right side hose. Refer to SIR Diagnostic System Check in SIR.
9. Install the hood release cable and the handle for the left side hose. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement in Body Front End.
10. Install the parking brake assembly for the left side hose. Refer to Park Brake Lever Assembly Replacement in Park Brake.
11. Install the sound insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console.

Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Rear Drain Hose

1. Remove the rear seat and the rear seat back. Refer to the following procedures in Seats.

•	Rear Seat Cushion Replacement

•	Rear Seat Back Replacement

•	Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement

2. Remove the quarter trim panel. Refer to the following procedures in Interior Trim.

•	Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement

•	Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement

•	Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement




3. Remove the headlining trim finish panel.
4. Remove the drain hose connection from the sunroof module.
5. Remove the acoustical patch.
6. On sedan models (top illustration), remove the rear seat-to-back window panel. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
7. Pull the trunk trim away in order to gain access to the drain hose.
8. Remove the drain hose from the outlet (1) in the rear compartment.

1. Install the drain hose to the outlet (1) in the rear compartment.
2. Install the trunk trim.
3. On sedan models (top illustration), install the rear seat-to-back window panel. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
4. Install the acoustical patch.
5. Install the drain hose connection to the sunroof module
6. Install the headlining trim finish panel.
7. Install the quarter trim panel. Refer to the following procedures in Interior Trim.

•	Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement

•	Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement

8. Install the rear seat and the rear seat back. Refer to the following procedures in Seats.

•	Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement
