Turn the ignition key to the RUN position with the driver's seatbelt unbuckled.
    • The audible alarm sounds for 5 seconds.
    • The safety belt lamp flashes for 15 seconds.

  1. Turn the ignition key OFF and then turn the ignition key ON.
  2. Buckle the driver's seatbelt.

The alarm and the light turn off when the belt is buckled.

  1. Open the driver's door with the ignition key in the ignition switch.
  2. Close the driver's door.
    • The audible alarm sounds while the key is in the ignition and the left door is open.
    • The audible alarm turns off with the left door closed.

  1. Turn the park lamps ON.
  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

The audible alarm sounds.

Turn the ignition switch ON.

The audible alarm turns off.
