Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the outside mirror. Refer to Manual Mirror Replacement .
  3. Remove the door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  4. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Remove the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Inner Belt Sealing Strip Replacement
  6. Remove the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement
  7. Remove the door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .

    8. Object Number: 293578 Size: MH
  8. Remove the front door window weatherstrip bolts (2).
  9. Remove the front door window weatherstrip (1) by rotating the legs outboard.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 293578 Size: MH
  1. Position the front door window weatherstrip (1) into the door.
  2. Rotate the legs inboard.

    3. Push the weatherstrip inward.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the front door window weatherstrip bolts (2).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the door window weatherstrip to inner panel bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
  5. Install the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement
  6. Install the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Inner Belt Sealing Strip Replacement
  7. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  8. Install the door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  9. Install the outside mirror. Refer to Manual Mirror Replacement .
  10. Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
